  1. Who we are

    We are Blue Light Card Ltd, whose registered office address is at Charnwood Edge Business Park, Syston Road, Cossington, Leicester, Leicestershire, England, LE7 4UZ (referred to below as BLC, we, us or our).

  2. The Prize Draw

    2.1. These terms and conditions apply to the ‘Big Blue Rewards - Prize Draw’ (the Prize Draw). The Prize Draw consists of three parts, each of which offers the chance of winning a prize (or prizes): (1) the Instant Rewards, (2) the Weekly Top Prize, and (3) the Star Prize. Terms and conditions apply to all three parts unless stated otherwise.

    2.2. By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to be unconditionally bound by these terms and conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material relating to this Prize Draw. A copy of these terms and conditions shall be available online for the duration of the Prize Draw and for four (4) weeks following the final closing date (10 November 2024), at: https://www.bluelightcard.co.uk/prizedraw-terms-conditions.

  3. Eligibility

    3.1. The Prize Draw is open to all residents of United Kingdom and the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man aged 18 years or over, who are registered Blue Light Card members, except for employees of BLC or its group companies, their immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, child, husband, wife and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), their agents or any third party directly associated with the administration or promotion of the Prize Draw (such eligible participants are referred to below as BLC Members).

    3.2. The Prize Draw is free to enter for all BLC Members. No ticket or entry purchase of any kind is necessary to take part in the Prize Draw.

  4. Entry and Prizes

    4.1. The Prize Draw is available “in app” only and is not available on the BLC website or “web on mobile”. To participate in the Prize Draw, you must login to the Blue Light Card mobile application (and navigate to the Big Blue Rewards Prize Draw area (accessible via the top menu), during one (1) or more of the Weekly Entry Periods (defined in the following clause), and 'click' the digitally displayed gift box to tap on it and open it. By doing so, you will be automatically entered into and be in with the chance of winning a prize in all three parts of the Prize Draw, namely:

    4.1.1. the Instant Rewards;

    4.1.2. the Weekly Top Prize; and

    4.1.3. the Star Prize.

    4.2. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in the Prize Draw during the following "Weekly Entry Periods" (each a Weekly Entry Period):

    4.2.1. 11:00 am (BST) on Tuesday 10 September 2024 and 11:59 pm (BST) on Sunday 15 September 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 1);

    4.2.2. 10:00 am (BST) on Monday 16 September 2024 and 11:59 pm (BST) on Sunday 22 September 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 2);

    4.2.3. 10:00 am (BST) on Monday 23 September 2024 and 11:59 pm (BST) on Sunday 29 September 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 3);

    4.2.4. 10:00 am (BST) on Monday 30 September 2024 and 11:59 pm (BST) on Sunday 6 October 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 4);

    4.2.5. 10:00 am (BST) on Monday 7 October 2024 and 11:59 pm (BST) on Sunday 13 October 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 5);

    4.2.6. 10:00 am (BST) on Monday 14 October 2024 and 11:59 pm (BST) on Sunday 20 October 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 6);

    4.2.7. 10:00 am (BST) on Monday 21 October 2024 and 11:59 pm (BST) on Sunday 27 October 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 7);

    4.2.8. 10:00 am (GMT) on Monday 28 October 2024 and 11:59 pm (GMT) on Sunday 3 November 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 8); and

    4.2.9. 10:00 am (GMT) on Monday 4 November 2024 and 11:59 pm (GMT) on Sunday 10 November 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 9).

    Instant Rewards

    4.3. The Instant Rewards can only be played once per day during each Weekly Entry Period, and attempts to participate in the Instant Rewards before the relevant Weekly Entry Period opens or after it closes will not be accepted or enable a participant to win an Instant Reward in that Weekly Entry Period. Any such entries will also be automatically disqualified from entering and winning a Weekly Top Prize or the Star Prize (each as further described below).

    4.4. For each Weekly Entry Period, there will be a series of prizes supplied by BLC or the relevant third party prize provider, the details and quantities of which shall be published in the Prize Details below at 11am on the Tuesday for Weekly Entry Period 1 and 9:30am on the Monday of each subsequent relevant Weekly Entry Period (each prize an Instant Reward and together the Instant Rewards).

    4.5. Each BLC Member can win only one Instant Reward per day during each Weekly Entry Period. BLC Members will be notified immediately of whether they have won an Instant Reward or not. Winners shall be determined by a pre-determined randomized algorithm which allocates a % chance of winning depending on volumes of prizes available and seeks to spread out the allocation of the Instant Rewards across the duration of the relevant Weekly Entry Period. Where an Instant Reward has been won, the BLC Member will be provided with on-screen details and instructions of how to claim the relevant Instant Reward, which shall either:

    4.5.1. require the BLC Member to email rewards@bluelightcard.co.uk with: (a) the unique code shown on screen when they are notified of their Instant Reward; and (b) their Blue Light Card membership number, within ten (10) working days of the on-screen notification; or

    4.5.2. supply the winner with a unique code, which shall be shown on screen together with instructions and a URL to the prize provider or third party supplier's website where such Instant Reward can be redeemed.

    4.6. All Instant Rewards which are not claimed within the ten (10) working day period stipulated above will (at the discretion of BLC) either be included in the pool of Instant Reward(s) list for a subsequent week, or be removed from the prize pool and not awarded.

    4.7. A BLC Member may participate in the Instant Rewards one (1) time per day for each day of the relevant Weekly Entry Period to attempt to win an Instant Reward. Each BLC Member can only ever win one (1) Instant Reward once per day.

    Weekly Top Prizes

    4.8. In addition to the Instant Rewards, each BLC Member that digitally taps and opens the box to enter the Prize Draw during a Weekly Entry Period (as described above) shall be automatically entered into the weekly free prize draw for that Weekly Entry Period, with a chance to win the "Weekly Top Prize" (the Weekly Top Prize).

    4.9. The potential winners of the Weekly Top Prize will be chosen by computerised random number generator from all eligible entries entered during the relevant Weekly Entry Period. Each of the winners will be drawn on the Monday after the relevant Weekly Entry Period closes and will be notified by email, to the email address the BLC Member has registered with their Blue Light Card account, within seven (7) days of the relevant Weekly Entry Period closing. Each Weekly Top Prize winner must respond to the notification email confirming their acceptance of the Weekly Top Prize within ten (10) working days.

    4.10. In the event that: (a) a prize notification email for a Weekly Top Prize is returned undelivered; (b) the winner does not confirm their acceptance of a Weekly Top Prize within the relevant ten (10) working day period; or (c) the winner is otherwise not in compliance with these terms and conditions, the winner of the Weekly Top Prize will forfeit their prize . A forfeited Weekly Top Prize may be awarded (in the discretion of the BLC) to an alternate winner in a random drawing, by random number generator, from all remaining eligible entries for that Weekly Top Prize.

    4.11. 1.1.  Full details and a description of each Weekly Top Prize will be published in the Prize Details section below at 11:00 am on the Tuesday for Weekly Entry Period 1 and 9:30am on the Monday of each subsequent relevant Weekly Entry Period. There will be a maximum of only one (1) entry per BLC Member for each Weekly Top Prize, regardless of the number of taps the BLC Member has made throughout the relevant Weekly Entry Period. There will be nine (9) Weekly Top Prizes available in total, one (1) for each Weekly Entry Period.

    Star Prize

    4.12. In addition to the Instant Rewards and the Weekly Top Prize, each BLC Member that digitally taps and opens the box to enter the Prize Draw (as described above) during one (1) or more of the Weekly Entry Periods shall also be automatically entered into the free prize draw to win the Star Prize.

    4.13. The potential winner of the Star Prize will be chosen by computerised random number generator from all eligible entries, entered across the Weekly Entry Periods on the Monday after the closing of the last Weekly Entry Period (i.e. on Monday 11 November 2024). The winner will be notified by email, to the email address the BLC Member has registered with its Blue Light Card account, within seven (7) days of the last Weekly Entry Period closing (i.e. by 17 November 2024). The Star Prize winner must respond to the notification email confirming their acceptance of the Star Prize within ten (10) working days.

    4.14. In the event that (a) a prize notification email for the Star Prize is returned undelivered; (b) the winner does not confirm their acceptance of the Star Prize within the relevant ten (10) working day period; or (c) the winner is otherwise not in compliance with these terms and conditions, the winner of Star Prize will forfeit their prize. A forfeited Star Prize may be awarded (in the discretion of the BLC) to an alternate winner in a random drawing, by random number generator, from all remaining eligible entries for the Star Prize.

    4.15. The Star Prize is an “on the road” 2024 SEAT Ibiza car (the Star Prize); full details of the Star Prize are published in the Prize Details section below. There is only one (1) Star Prize and there will only be a maximum of one (1) entry per BLC Member for the Star Prize across all Weekly Entry Periods, regardless of the number of taps the BLC Member has made throughout the Weekly Entry Periods. Please note that:

    4.15.1. if the winner of the Star Prize does not have a valid driving licence, the winner will be responsible for ensuring (and will take reasonable steps to seek to ensure) that someone else who holds a valid driving licence and appropriate insurance drives the Star Prize after it has been handed over by the prize provider, Motorfinity Group Limited (Star Prize Provider);

    4.15.2. the Star Prize must be redeemed in full and cannot be redeemed in parts;

    4.15.3. BLC will endeavour to deliver the Star Prize to the winner's registered residential address as soon as is practicable and, where possible, within thirty (30) days after the winner's acceptance of the Star Prize; and

    4.15.4. all costs and expenses not specifically included in the Star Prize are solely the winner’s responsibility, including for the avoidance of doubt: road tax, vehicle registration fees, fuel, insurance, parking permit charges (where applicable) and any other ongoing running, maintenance and services costs.

  5. Limitations on Liability

    5.1. By accepting an Instant Reward and/or a Weekly Top Prize and/or the Star Prize (each a Prize), the winner of such Prize agrees to release and hold harmless BLC and its affiliates, suppliers (including without limitation suppliers and donors of prizes), distributors, agencies and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the Released Parties) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Prize Draw, inability to participate in the Prize Draw, or receipt of, use or misuse of any Prize.

    5.2. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, typing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Prize Draw; (b) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections of servers, networks, websites or applications, hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person’s computer account resulting from participating in this Prize Draw, or mis-transcribed data; (c) unauthorised human intervention or human error which may occur in any part of the entry process or the process for allocating the prize(s); (d) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Prize Draw or the processing of entries; (e) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or corrupt entries or notifications; or (f) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Prize Draw or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the relevant part of the Prize Draw, if it is possible. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.

    5.3. Nothing in this section shall exclude the Released Parties' liability for death or personal injury caused by their negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability whose limitation is prohibited by law.

  6. Tax

    The Prizes may be taxable income under the laws applicable to the winner(s). Any taxes applicable to a Prize are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the winner. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting their Prize to the relevant tax authorities, and paying all taxes applicable to the Prize, as required by the applicable tax laws. Upon request from BLC, the winners will promptly complete and submit to BLC all tax forms, certificates or authorisations as may be necessary under the applicable tax laws.

  7. Further information about the Prizes

    7.1. Each Prize will also be subject to its own individual set of exclusions and terms and conditions as set out by the relevant third party provider of the Prize (including without limitation for the Star Prize, those of the Star Prize Provider).

    7.2. Each Prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered.

    7.3. BLC reserves the right to replace any Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond BLC’s control make it necessary to do so.

    7.4. The decision of BLC regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

  8. General

    8.1. In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim each Prize. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.

    8.2. Except to the extent we are prevented by law from doing so, we will send the surname and county of Weekly Top Prize winners and the Star Prize winner to anyone who emails us at: rewards@bluelightcard.co.uk or writes to us at Charnwood Edge Business Park, Syston Road, Cossington, Leicester, Leicestershire, England, LE7 4UZ Blue Light Card Ltd (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one (1) month of the closing date of: (a) the relevant Weekly Entry Period for the Instant Rewards and Weekly Top Prize and (b) the final Weekly Entry Period for the Star Prize, as applicable.

    8.3. If you object to any or all of your surname and/ or county being made available, please contact us at: dpo@bluelightcard.co.uk. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority or any other relevant regulator on request.

    8.4. The Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or associated with any social media platform including for the avoidance of doubt Tik Tok, Instagram or Meta. Facebook and Instagram are fully released (by entrants and by BLC) from all liability that may arise from any matter related to the Prize Draw, and Facebook and Instagram may not be held liable for any claim arising from your participation in the Prize Draw or taking up a Prize.

    8.5. BLC Members who participate in the Prize Draw are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. BLC reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award a Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

    8.6. BLC reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

    8.7. If any provision(s) of these terms and conditions (or any part thereof) are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions (or any part of such provisions) will remain in full force and effect.

    8.8. You may not assign or delegate these terms and conditions or any of your rights and obligations under these terms and conditions. Any purported assignment shall be null and void.

    8.9. The Prize Draw, these terms and conditions and any dispute arising under or in connection with them, will be governed by the laws of England and Wales. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you under your own laws and such provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement by virtue of the law of your jurisdiction.

    8.10. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. This choice of jurisdiction shall not limit your right to bring proceedings, including third party proceedings, in any other court of competent jurisdiction, and the bringing or continuing of proceedings in any one or more jurisdictions shall not preclude the bringing of proceedings in any other jurisdiction, whether concurrently or not, if and to the extent permitted by applicable law.

  9. Data Protection and Publicity

    9.1. BLC will collect and use personal data to conduct the Prize Draw as is necessary to perform its agreement with you and in order to comply with its legal obligations, including to select and verify winners, deliver the Prizes and, where permitted, notify third parties of the results (as required by applicable advertising regulations).

    9.2. BLC will only process the personal data it receives in accordance with its privacy notice which is available at www.bluelightcard.co.uk/privacy-notice.php (Privacy Notice). This Privacy Notice contains information about how to access, correct or update your personal information, how to make a complaint about a potential breach of privacy and how the Promoter will deal with such a complaint.

    9.3. A winner may be asked to take part in publicity related to the Prize Draw. Such publicity might include use of the entrant’s social media handle.

    4.2.4. 10:00 am (BST) on Monday 30 September 2024 and 11:59 pm (BST) on Sunday 6 October 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 4);

    4.2.5. 10:00 am (BST) on Monday 7 October 2024 and 11:59 pm (BST) on Sunday 13 October 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 5);

    4.2.6. 10:00 am (BST) on Monday 14 October 2024 and 11:59 pm (BST) on Sunday 20 October 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 6);

    4.2.7. 10:00 am (BST) on Monday 21 October 2024 and 11:59 pm (BST) on Sunday 27 October 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 7);

    4.2.8. 10:00 am (GMT) on Monday 28 October 2024 and 11:59 pm (GMT) on Sunday 3 November 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 8); and

    4.2.9. 10:00 am (GMT) on Monday 4 November 2024 and 11:59 pm (GMT) on Sunday 10 November 2024 (Weekly Entry Period 9).

    Instant Rewards

    4.3. The Instant Rewards can only be played once per day during each Weekly Entry Period, and attempts to participate in the Instant Rewards before the relevant Weekly Entry Period opens or after it closes will not be accepted or enable a participant to win an Instant Reward in that Weekly Entry Period. Any such entries will also be automatically disqualified from entering and winning a Weekly Top Prize or the Star Prize (each as further described below).

    4.7. A BLC Member may participate in the Instant Rewards one (1) time per day for each day of the relevant Weekly Entry Period to attempt to win an Instant Reward. Each BLC Member can only ever win one (1) Instant Reward once per day.

    Weekly Top Prizes

    4.8. In addition to the Instant Rewards, each BLC Member that digitally taps and opens the box to enter the Prize Draw during a Weekly Entry Period (as described above) shall be automatically entered into the weekly free prize draw for that Weekly Entry Period, with a chance to win the "Weekly Top Prize" (the Weekly Top Prize).

    4.9. The potential winners of the Weekly Top Prize will be chosen by computerised random number generator from all eligible entries entered during the relevant Weekly Entry Period. Each of the winners will be drawn on the Monday after the relevant Weekly Entry Period closes and will be notified by email, to the email address the BLC Member has registered with their Blue Light Card account, within seven (7) days of the relevant Weekly Entry Period closing. Each Weekly Top Prize winner must respond to the notification email confirming their acceptance of the Weekly Top Prize within ten (10) working days.

    4.10. In the event that: (a) a prize notification email for a Weekly Top Prize is returned undelivered; (b) the winner does not confirm their acceptance of a Weekly Top Prize within the relevant ten (10) working day period; or (c) the winner is otherwise not in compliance with these terms and conditions, the winner of the Weekly Top Prize will forfeit their prize .     4.13. The potential winner of the Star Prize will be chosen by computerised random number generator from all eligible entries, entered across the Weekly Entry Periods on the Monday after the closing of the last Weekly Entry Period (i.e. on Monday 11 November 2024). The winner will be notified by email, to the email address the BLC Member has registered with its Blue Light Card account, within seven (7) days of the last Weekly Entry Period closing (i.e. by 17 November 2024). The Star Prize winner must respond to the notification email confirming their acceptance of the Star Prize within ten (10) working days.

    4.14. In the event that (a) a prize notification email for the Star Prize is returned undelivered; (b) the winner does not confirm their acceptance of the Star Prize within the relevant ten (10) working day period; or (c) the winner is otherwise not in compliance with these terms and conditions, the winner of Star Prize will forfeit their prize. A forfeited Star Prize may be awarded (in the discretion of the BLC) to an alternate winner in a random drawing, by random number generator, from all remaining eligible entries for the Star Prize.

    4.15. The Star Prize is an “on the road” 2024 SEAT Ibiza car (the Star Prize); full details of the Star Prize are published in the Prize Details section below. There is only one (1) Star Prize and there will only be a maximum of one (1) entry per BLC Member for the Star Prize across all Weekly Entry Periods, regardless of the number of taps the BLC Member has made throughout the Weekly Entry Periods. Please note that:

    4.15.1. if the winner of the Star Prize does not have a valid driving licence, the winner will be responsible for ensuring (and will take reasonable steps to seek to ensure) that someone else who holds a valid driving licence and appropriate insurance drives the Star Prize after it has been handed over by the prize provider, Motorfinity Group Limited (Star Prize Provider);

    4.15.2. the Star Prize must be redeemed in full and cannot be redeemed in parts;

    4.15.3. BLC will endeavour to deliver the Star Prize to the winner's registered residential address as soon as is practicable and, where possible, within thirty (30) days after the winner's acceptance of the Star Prize; and

    4.15.4. all costs and expenses not specifically included in the Star Prize are solely the winner’s responsibility, including for the avoidance of doubt: road tax, vehicle registration fees, fuel, insurance, parking permit charges (where applicable) and any other ongoing running, maintenance and services costs.

  5. Limitations on Liability

    5.1. By accepting an Instant Reward and/or a Weekly Top Prize and/or the Star Prize (each a Prize), the winner of such Prize agrees to release and hold harmless BLC and its affiliates, suppliers (including without limitation suppliers and donors of prizes), distributors, agencies and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the Released Parties) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Prize Draw, inability to participate in the Prize Draw, or receipt of, use or misuse of any Prize.

    5.2. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, typing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Prize Draw; (b) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections of servers, networks, websites or applications, hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person’s computer account resulting from participating in this Prize Draw, or mis-transcribed data; (c) unauthorised human intervention or human error which may occur in any part of the entry process or the process for allocating the prize(s); (d) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Prize Draw or the processing of entries; (e) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or corrupt entries or notifications; or (f) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Prize Draw or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the relevant part of the Prize Draw, if it is possible. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.

    5.3. Nothing in this section shall exclude the Released Parties' liability for death or personal injury caused by their negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability whose limitation is prohibited by law.

  6. Tax

    The Prizes may be taxable income under the laws applicable to the winner(s). Any taxes applicable to a Prize are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the winner. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting their Prize to the relevant tax authorities, and paying all taxes applicable to the Prize, as required by the applicable tax laws. Upon request from BLC, the winners will promptly complete and submit to BLC all tax forms, certificates or authorisations as may be necessary under the applicable tax laws.

  7. Further information about the Prizes

    7.1. Each Prize will also be subject to its own individual set of exclusions and terms and conditions as set out by the relevant third party provider of the Prize (including without limitation for the Star Prize, those of the Star Prize Provider).

    7.2. Each Prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered.

    7.3. BLC reserves the right to replace any Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond BLC’s control make it necessary to do so.

    7.4. The decision of BLC regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

  8. General

    8.1. In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim each Prize. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.

    8.2. Except to the extent we are prevented by law from doing so, we will send the surname and county of Weekly Top Prize winners and the Star Prize winner to anyone who emails us at: rewards@bluelightcard.co.uk or writes to us at Charnwood Edge Business Park, Syston Road, Cossington, Leicester, Leicestershire, England, LE7 4UZ Blue Light Card Ltd (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one (1) month of the closing date of: (a) the relevant Weekly Entry Period for the Instant Rewards and Weekly Top Prize and (b) the final Weekly Entry Period for the Star Prize, as applicable.

    8.4. The Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or associated with any social media platform including for the avoidance of doubt Tik Tok, Instagram or Meta. Facebook and Instagram are fully released (by entrants and by BLC) from all liability that may arise from any matter related to the Prize Draw, and Facebook and Instagram may not be held liable for any claim arising from your participation in the Prize Draw or taking up a Prize.

    8.5. BLC Members who participate in the Prize Draw are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. BLC reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award a Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

    8.6. BLC reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

    8.7. If any provision(s) of these terms and conditions (or any part thereof) are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions (or any part of such provisions) will remain in full force and effect.

    8.8. You may not assign or delegate these terms and conditions or any of your rights and obligations under these terms and conditions. Any purported assignment shall be null and void.

    8.9. The Prize Draw, these terms and conditions and any dispute arising under or in connection with them, will be governed by the laws of England and Wales. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you under your own laws and such provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement by virtue of the law of your jurisdiction.

    8.10. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. This choice of jurisdiction shall not limit your right to bring proceedings, including third party proceedings, in any other court of competent jurisdiction, and the bringing or continuing of proceedings in any one or more jurisdictions shall not preclude the bringing of proceedings in any other jurisdiction, whether concurrently or not, if and to the extent permitted by applicable law.

  9. Data Protection and Publicity

    9.1. BLC will collect and use personal data to conduct the Prize Draw as is necessary to perform its agreement with you and in order to comply with its legal obligations, including to select and verify winners, deliver the Prizes and, where permitted, notify third parties of the results (as required by applicable advertising regulations).

    9.2. BLC will only process the personal data it receives in accordance with its privacy notice which is available at www.bluelightcard.co.uk/privacy-notice.php (Privacy Notice). This Privacy Notice contains information about how to access, correct or update your personal information, how to make a complaint about a potential breach of privacy and how the Promoter will deal with such a complaint.

    9.3. A winner may be asked to take part in publicity related to the Prize Draw. Such publicity might include use of the entrant’s social media handle.

    1. Prize vehicle details:

    2. Vehicle Registration:

      • The vehicle will be pre-registered to Motorfinity, making the Prize Draw winner the second registered keeper of the vehicle. The vehicle may have a small amount of mileage incurred during pre-delivery inspection and testing (up to 200 miles). 

    3. Delivery and collection:

      • The vehicle will be transported via trailered delivery from Motorfinity to the winner’s address within the UK.

      • Standard delivery arrangements include free-of-charge delivery to the winner's home address in mainland UK. If the winner is based in any non-mainland location such as the Isle of Man, Isle of Lewis, Shetland Islands, or Northern Ireland, Motorfinity will arrange delivery to the nearest UK mainland (in England, Wales and Scotland) port.
